William Beckett
{character basics}[/font]
nickname(s): Will
age: 17
birthday: June 5
grade: Senior
gender: Male
sexual orientation: straight
clique: Rebel
{appearance}
portrayed by: Pete Wentz
height: 5' 7"
eye color: brown
hair color: black
overall: To the stranger's eye, Will's appearence would most likely shout: Emo. His raven black hair comes down in front of the right side of his face, but doesn't cover his eyes. S0metimes, if he's bored, Will puts in some red coloring in the front, which helps the emo look. His skin is a bit darker because of his Native Hawaiin ancestry.
Will loves wearing hoodies every single day, no matter what the weather is like. His eyeliner is as black as his hair, and he doesn't care what people think of it. His favorite shoes are Converse or Chuck Taylor's. They compliment his skinny jeans very nicely. =)
The thing that stands out most about him are his tattoos. He has a fair few up and down his arm that he got. Will "accidentaly" forgot to ask his parents' permission first. Oops! Not. One of them is a picture of Jack Skellington, since Nightmare Before Christmas is one of his favorite movies. He also has one on his middle finger: 2*r, which means second star to the right.
{personality}
general:
Will shows his softer side on rare occasions. Though when he does, he can be very sweet and mellow. His friends have never seen this side of him, and very few girls have gotton that close to him at all.
But when he wants to, Will can be the life of the pary, the crazy party animal. But mostly, he's jamming out on his bass, behind the singer, but still in the spotlight, nonetheless. He often gets lost in the music and forgets that there are other people in the room.
He's a rebel for a reason. Will rarely does any chores, or anything besides writing music. The longest any of his jobs have lasted was around 5 weeks. So, not big on the responsibility charts.
likes: music, bass, parties, eyeliner, iPods, monkeys
dislikes: preps, sluts, people who ruin his good mood, judging him before getting to know him
strengths: funny, energetic, bold, sweet, can be shy at times
weaknesses: chocolate, irresponsible, limited attention span, crazy
{history}
birthplace: Wilmette, Illinois
family members: William Beckett Sr.
Julia (Hansen) Beckett
Rosalina Beckett
history: William Beckett Sr. met Julia Hansen at college in Illinois. Both of them fell in love instantly, or so the story's been told. Then comes the happily ever after crap.
Neither of them knew how much crap they would be in when they had their first kid, who happened to be Will. He was a trouble maker from the beginning, and had no intentions on being 'tamed'. He didn't have many friends, even in kindergarten, since he was so rude.
The Beckett's moved to LA hoping the weather would improve his mode. Wrong. He was still the rebellious kid as before. Then, his baby sister was born: Rosalina. She was the polar opposite of Will. Little-miss-perfect was gorgeous and could do no wrong. That made Will furious and he started picking on her every second of the day.
The one good thing about moving to LA for Will, was being able to drive to the beach every day. It was a way to get away from everything and everyone that was getting on his nerves. It was also the perfect place to just chill out, write some music, and play his bass. The sights, smells, and sounds were just some of the things that inspired his music.
The one thing Will missed about Illinois, were his friends. They had all been a lot like Will, all obsessed with music, and rebelling from their parents. The group of them had even started a band. It wasn't very popular; the usual "stuck-in-the-garage" band. They had a few people come and listen to their music, but considering it wasn't the type of music that was "in", not many people cared for their truthful lyrics. Will hated rap. These days, all songs revolved around sex or how hot some stripper was. It was disgusting.

roleplay sample:
"William!!" someone shrieked from the next room. "It's WILL, Mom!" he shouted back to her. Why couldn't people get it right!? William sounded like some guy who wore sweaters around their shoulders and got milk from a milk man! You know, like one of those "average people." Will Beckett was definately not average. "William, can you go get some groceries?" Will groaned. It's WILL! he yelled at her mentally. "Make Rose do it!" he replied, getting back to strumming his bass. Rosalina had just gotten her driver's lisence and was wasting gas and money. She liked to just drive for hours, showing off her new car.
"Rosalina's at her friend's house! Go get the groceries!!" his mother yelled, quite violently. "Alright, alright. God!" He turned off the amp and put the bass back in the case. Will picked up his keys and strode smoothly out the door. He slammed the door of his used car. His parents wanted to give him a nice car, but he wanted to pay for it himself, for some reason unknown. Will turned the key, waiting a minute for the car to actually turn on. When it did, he blasted the radio as loud as it could go. Britney Spears was on. Will cringed and switched it to his Panic! At the Disco CD. He sang each note in perfect pitch, though his voice was strained since he was basically screaming it. At stop lights, he played Air-Bass, the less popular version of Air-Guitar. When Will got to the store, he put in his iPod, not even taking it out at the cash register. He drove home the same way he came and tossed the bag on the ground near his mom. "There." he said, flatly. Then he went up to his room and played the bass for the rest of the night.
