The afternoon was warm, a perfect day for ice cream. Amanda stood in her bedroom, looking for her purse. She needed to clean her room badly. It wasn't dirty, and there weren't dirty clothes anywhere, but she never put anything away. Papers from school that she would not need again until exams were littered over her floor. Random objects that belonged to her also littered the floor, because whenever her parents asked her to take her belongings into her bedroom, Amanda simply tossed them to the side. She decided she would clean her room tomorrow.
Amanda found her purse and looked inside it to see if she had enough money. She counted about ten dollars, but took a few extra and put them into her purse just in case. Then she left her house and started walking towards the Coldstone Creamery. As she walked, she thought about what flavor of ice cream she would get. Chocolate? No, she didn't always like chocolate ice cream. She thought about it more and finally decided on Black Raspberry, if they had it. But she hoped they would, because it was one of her favorite ice cream flavors.
Amanda opened the door of the Creamery, hearing the *ding!* of the bell on the door. She ordered her ice cream and sat down at a small table. There weren't many others in the Creamery, but enough to create some noise. Amanda looked out the window as she ate, watching others pass by the small ice cream shop.

Garrett's youngest brother had been bugging him all morning about wanting to go and get ice cream. And after a few hours of being out in th hot un skate boarding he gave in. After taking a quick shower and throwing on a pair of volcom jeans along with a black Plan B shirt, Garrett told hios younger brother he woul;d take him.
Garrett lifted his brother up into the white dodge, and then walked around to the opposite side and hoped in himself. The lettle boy smiled as Garrett backed out of the drive way and oyt onto the street. The two had some conversation that was filled with laughter all the way to the ice vream shop. The little boy hoped out f the ruck and sped off in to the creamery, and Garrett followed after. When the two got inside, Garrett lifted up his brotgher and spunm him around once and aksed him what he wanted.
Not many people ever saw this side of Garrett, besides his family and closest buds.

Amanda did not notice at first that more customers had entered the Creamery. She was too busy staring out the window, almost not remembering where she was. There were times when Amanda's daydreaming left her looking lost and slightly confused. Her sister often pointed this out when she came to visit. But Amanda was fine with her daydreaming. She only daydreamed when she was left alone long enough for her thoughts to wander to something other than what was happening to her that moment. And since now nothing interesting was happening, she took no notice of the two who had just walked in.
It wasn't until the door closed that Amanda looked up. That, and her ice cream was melting onto her hand. The ice cream on her hand was cold and wet, and Amanda hadn't grabbed any napkins when she had taken her ice cream. She had not expected to drift off and forget about her ice cream. She stood up, walking over to the counter. She recognized the boy in front of her as someone from her school, however he was a year older. She waited patiently as the senior asked the younger boy what he wanted for ice cream, however she silently wished that they would hurry. Her hand was getting cold, and the rest of her ice cream was melting as well. She licked the side of it, but it continued to melt. Finally, she moved to the side of the two boys, and asked the woman behind the counter for a napkin. She smiled apologetically to the senior. "Sorry. My ice cream is melting."

Hearing a soft tone speak up Garrett's attention was pulled from his sibling. He was a ladies man by far, and hearing a demales voice instantly stole his attention. With that Garrett set down his younger brother, and his hands went into his front pockets. With a slight rocking on his heels, his eyes dared to his younger brother briefly as his eyes locked onto the glass. Then immediately back to te young woman.
A charming, but still that bad boy, smile spread across Garrett's face. He was beyond a flirt, what he did couldn't be called flirting since to him he had perfected that art years ago. Without a sound Garrett stepped up close behind the girl, barely not touching her, but the heat from her body could still be felt. Need any help,...?
The words softly ran from his lips, while also almost at a whisper as he was so close to her. Sure, he risked the chance f getting slapped. Big deal, it happened, though not a whole lot.

Amanda looked up. She had not expected the guy to speak to her. If anything, she had expected him to be annoyed with her for stepping ahead of him. Now, he was standing very close to her. She did not back away, though she made sure there was room for her to move if the guy turned out to be a total creep.
Nevertheless, she smiled. "I think I'm all set, but thank you." The woman behind the counter handed her the napkins, and Amanda wiped up the melting ice cream. She turned to the trashcan that was behind her, then back to the guy standing in line beside her.
She was about to return to her seat by the window, but decided she would stay for a moment. The guy seemed friendly enough, so she would stay and talk to him, at least for a moment or two longer. If he did not want to talk with her, she would walk back to the window. But if he did, well that would be much more interesting for Amanda than sitting and staring out the window.
She tried to think of something to say to the guy, but she did not really know him. So she settled on asking him, "Have I seen you before? You look familiar." Of course she knew that they went to the same school. In fact, he may have been in her gym class or something during one of her years at Shadowridge. But it was the only thing she could think of to say, and so she let the words slip out of her mouth.

Garrett backed up when she said she ahd it undercontrol, when she had walked away his younger brother came charging up to his leg and attempted to knock him over. Butt his blance was well set. He had learned how to keep his balance really well through his high school years, it was an art he had to have a really tight grip of with his crazy life style.
When she returned a look of puzzlement, disbelief, and arrogance spread over his face. His beautiful eyes and charming smiled followed quickly with this. And his tone matched as well but still carried that flirtacious tone it always did.
Are you seerious? A girl that doesn't know my name,....
Garrett's tone showed high arrogance, he was to use to having girls thrown themselves at his feet thoguh at the same time.
I'm only like the most wanted guy,...
Garrett's ego was his biggest flaw, yes, even bigger then his substance and alcohoal abuse.
Well,...I'm Garrett Sheckler,....
The arrogant tone dropped and picked up a sweeter one
And name fits your beauty,...
He was a major flirt, and had more charm then all the prince charmings from every fairy tale put together. [/center]
