Emma let out a yawn as she shook her head, sighing quietly as she walked through the courtyard. Bored? That's one word for her mood, the exact reason she'd come here; she was sure to find someone she knew in the courtyard, right? For good or for bad. Either way, she was bored.
At the moment, a pair of simple jeans fell from low on her hips over black flats, a mint green tank top hugging her torso tightly, her blonde hair pulled into a side ponytail to fall over her left shoulder, side bangs pushed to the right as usual. Basically it was nothing special, just her normal clothes.
She bit down on her lower lip as she paced around the courtyard, celery green eyes open for anyone she could go talk to.

Danni's father's car pulled up in the school parking lot dropping his daughter off to school as usual. She leaned over to kiss him and she grabbed her Betsey Johnson bag from the seat behind her. She waved bye to her little brother before making her way out of the traffic and into the school's courtyard. She had her bag over one shoulder and her binder in her arms, clutched to her chest. It had already been a week and she was nervous as ever. She wore a pair of white pumps that weren't too high. Her grey skinny jeans hugged her legs and her hips. On top, she wore a tight-fitting, purple shirt with the words Juicy Couture across the front. She loved graphic tees and it had white little anchors all over it and hearts. She really did adore that store.
Her blond hair was let down in soft waves that enhanced her eyes. She was nervous as she walked, feeling eyes staring at her. She hated being the new girl around here. It was terrifying and people were so mean sometimes. She was never a popular girl and she was too smart to be loved by many. Danni was just...different. She found herself in the courtyard as she took a seat at a bench. She opened her binder and studied the notes she had taken yesterday in science. She hated tests so much, but she managed to pass almost all of them with either an A or a B. Danni was a obviously a pretty good kid in school.
She noticed another blond girl. Emma Stone, one of the prettiest, popular girls she had met so far. She didn't want to meet the others. She feared them because she was always the nerd, but still...she didn't know why. They were just girls, but Danni never perceived them that way.

Emma glanced over as she spotted Danni, wavering for a moment before walking over there. I mean, was that really a good idea? Emma wasn't stupid, she knew that Danni disliked her for some reason. She bit down on her lower lip before just walking over there and plopping down beside her, offering a small, pretty smile. "Hey," She exclaimed, now adamant on getting Danni to stop disliking her. I mean, as far as Emma could see, there was no reason for it.
"Science." Emma responded with a laugh, nose scrunching up adorably as she crossed her slender legs smoothly, brushing a stray piece of blonde hair behind her ear lightly. Unsure of what else to say she looked away with a light sigh, and a frown. God, she hated awkward situations. Danni was gorgeous - there was no reason at all for her to be worried about Emma. Danni had her back turned, but she heard someone walking over. She sighed and carried on working on her science notes. She looked up only for a moment when Emma came over. "Hi." she replied quietly and carried on. Danni became rather frantic around Emma, rather nervous too. There was a small silence. The first time she met Emma, Danni accidentally ran into her and Emma kind of snapped on her so she was now afraid of the girl and disliked her. Anyone that snapped at her made her unhappy. It wasn't really Emma's fault, but snapping wasn't what she could deal with. Her parents did it too much and these days, she wasn't sure of how to handle it. She just didn't want to get yelled at at school and by her parents. She already got enough of it.
"Yup," she responded, looking up only briefly. Her green eyes were sharp as she stared at the girl for a while before turning back to her work. She really did not want to be here now. She feared Emma was going to make fun of her or something. After all, she had already been called the nerdiest girl at school. She hated being in this position because she feared chewing someone out.

Emma gave a rather aggravated, but quiet, sigh along with a shake of her head. "Listen, I don't hate you, okay?" She asked, with a light frown as she twirled a strand of her hair with her slender finger, a rather nervous habit of hers. I mean, might as well just get it in the open, right? It might make things more awkward, but then again, it might make them less.
"I'm really sorry about what happened the first time I met you, but I was having a shitty day, and..." She said, her voice trailing off as if figuring Danni could figure out the rest on her own. Which, she probably could. "Just, can we start over? I mean, if I really didn't like you, I wouldn't have come over here to talk to you." She informed her softly, giving a shrug of her slender shoulders before dropping her hands down to her thighs softly. She raised her eyebrows slightly as she waited for a response, unsure of what would happen now.
