The school is full of mostly beautiful people. Pretty much almost every girl on campus is gorgeous and smart...notice how I said almost. Danni Hilton couldn't be what you consider smart. She's a genius, but maybe too smart for her own good. Her brains keep boys away and keep girls away from wanting to be friends with her. Sure, she's pretty, but when you make a mistake she tends to correct you, even if that makes her sound stupid. She can't stand grammatical errors. Strange, isn't it? Yes, well, Danni is used to it. She's a new girl struggling to befriend the popular girls, but she'll never compare to Jenna or any of the other popular girls. She doesn't do partying and she definitely doesn't do drugs or drinking. Danni's is pretty much the religious girl that can't stand being bad. She likes pranks, yes, but she's too kind-hearted to just do them randomly, even if they are small.
Ryan, on the other hand, is full of jokes and is one of the funniest boys you'll meet on campus. He's smart, talks too much, and he's so outgoing, he'll do anything to get a laugh out of anyone. Ryan's a good guy, in the sense that he won't do drugs and stuff like that. He's never really thought about girls during his lifetime. He believes that he'll find a girl eventually, but the problem is, Ryan has high standards for girls. He doesn't like girls that aren't smart, aren't talented, and ones that are too shy and liars. He loves girls that don't mind being themselves and don't mind being just normal. He thought no girl could ever reach this standard so he didn't bother about being single. Besides, he had his friends to keep him company and plenty of girls that liked him because he was already acting, outside of school.
Everything seemed to change for Ryan when Danni moved to town. She was almost everything he wanted. She was a loyal friend, outgoing, and talented. The only problem was, she was a bit of a genius. People just thought she was being a smart-alec about her comments, but in reality, it was how she was. Not only that, but Danni's a girl with money problems. She had to work her hardest to get in with a scholarship. Her mother left her father and Danni lives with her father and her little brothers now so financially, she hopes to make it big with her acting career. That's when she met Ryan. The two ran into each other at the park one day while she was home with her siblings, before she moved into a dorm room at the campus. Things changed for the two of them. He seemed to be sweet to her and he adored her more than any girl he had ever imagined, and she was smart.
The two are too shy, however, and they don't know how to make a move. Danni's too afraid of rejection, even though they both know they'd never break up if they dated. That's what Danni's friends tell her anyways. Ryan's afraid Danni will break his heart, too. Can these two find a way to tell each other, or will they have to wait until they grow old to finally figure out that their fears have to be put aside? Come on now guys, you're almost eightteen! Better decide.
