Nicole Cait Evans
{character basics}[/font]
nickname(s): Nick, Nicky, Evans
age: seventeen
birthday: february 18th, 1991
grade: junior
gender: female
sexual orientation: heterosexual.
clique: the geniuses
{appearance}
portrayed by: alexis bledel
height: 5'1"
eye color: blue
hair color: brown
overall:
Nicky's body type would be considered slim and slender, and also a little on the short side. The girl weighs in at a hundred-and-twelve pounds (112 lbs.) and hovers above five-foot-one (5'1"). She has dark red-brown hair that she usually keeps tied back in a ponytail and bangs that wavers in front of her eyes from time to time. Her facial features are small and delicate, and she has a heart-shaped face. Nicole's eyes would probably the most attention-grabbing physical attribute, they're electric blue. And being bright blue eyed, it's no wonder that she has a fair—almost pale—complexion sprinkled with freckles all over.
On her clothing style however, Nick's one to keep it simple. You won't see her with anything that would reveal too much, nor would be a drag. As much as she would like to say she's a t-shirt and jeans type of girl, she's a little bit more than that. Everyday, she would like to mix it up from time to time, never really finding a certain style to stick with. From one moment, she could be looking like the girl next door, the next she'd be harboring a glam-rock inspired outfit, all the while she tries not making herself look too sleazy or pretentious. Others have commented on her lack of definite clothing style before, but in reality, Nicole just didn't really care much for fashion and styling.
{personality}
general:
Like most people, Nicole's personality varies within the environment she's in. In a new environment, it would be rare to see her socializing with someone unless that person is the one who initiated the conversation. Timid and bashful would probably the first impression you'd have of this young girl. Although some long-ago acquaintances would like to disagree with that. It's just that: out of a familiar environment, Nicole might not act like the Nicky-like person she really is. To her, it all comes down to being cautious. She's undoubtedly the idealist (which is only a more lenient way of saying she's a perfectionist,) and she doesn't want to take chances with giving the wrong impression on people. Yet when she's someone who she figured would be more silent and timid than her, it would probably up her confidence to socialize a bit.
However, when you place Nicole in a familiar environment, let's say back at home with her friends and family, she's not really as reclusive as people would think she is. In a familiar environment, Nicole would be one of those girls that has a goofy sense of humor, although it may not show too much. In some sense, Nicole thinks of herself as a true blue dork. It wouldn't be too hard to make her laugh and smile, as practically anything makes her laugh. Which brings us to another idea about Nicole, she's an optimist. Although, by saying that, it doesn't mean she doesn't have her bad days—she does—everybody does—but for the most part, she's an optimist.
One of the defining things about Nicole would be her determination and motivation. It must've come with the whole finicky perfectionist package. With work, Nicole would always handle it diligently and neatly, even almost finishing it on time (maybe a few days before the due date, so she'll have nothing to worry about). For now, in a new environment, it has been pretty established that she's the wallflower type. But don't expect her not ever get mad or fussy. Fact is, Nicole finds herself a little finicky and short-tempered. Though she might not be the one who would be all upfront to you about it, she certainly easily gets annoyed, and when she's truly mad. Well, it's clear on her features. Being a determined hard worker (see perfectionist as mentioned above), Nicole is often irritated with lazy people. It makes her appear a little arrogant and self-righteous at times, but it's not like everybody goes through life without faults.

{history}
birthplace: Los Angeles, California
family members: Alexander, Erica, Jeremy, and Aiken Evans. Respectively, her father, mother and two brothers.
history:
You would think that a kid—what's more a girl growing up in LA would be a partier, the one who knows the trends and such. Basically, just anything Nicole completely isn't. (Partying just is not in her system, and trends... pfft, she couldn't care any less about them.) But you're wrong, even if Nicole was born in Los Angeles California, most of her childhood was spent being up with her relatives back in Ohio.
When she was about two years old, her mother and father were having problems with their marriage. Nicole can't really identify what it was back then, really what kid does? All she knows is that her mother, Erica, doesn't want her to be around when she and her husband are fighting. It continued for about two years, and when she was four, her mother decided to send the kids to their aunt (her sister) back in Ohio, her hometown. Meanwhile, she and her husband would work things out together.
Nicole, having spent minimum to no play time at all back home in LA, now pushed into this big welcoming family of hers, became closer with her cousins more than anything else. But for the most part, she got close to one particular cousin of hers, Miranda. She wasn't sure what that girl has, or anything, but from the very moment, they just clicked. Anyways, when she was six years old, and her parents had finally patched things up, she was going back home to LA again. It was a sad time for the little kid, being that she's leaving her most beloved friends behind.
But Miranda and her family moved to LA about six months later. Something about her mother or father finding them a job or something. To be honest, Nicole doesn't really care, she's just happy that she got her best friend with her. They seemed closer than ever, they even went to camp together. And you know how that went. When middle school rolled on, well, it put a strain on the girls' relationship. Nicole was then branded as Miranda's tag-along, her little croonie, the follower. At first, Nicky pretended that she wasn't affected, but it did hurt. It changed her mind and her point of view about her relationship with her cousin that day. But alas, that's probably the only drama so far in her life. That and the promise.

roleplay sample:
The park was the only shortcut to the Caldwell's apartment. Truth be told, to be going home this early one a Saturday seemed even strange and dorky by her. She had just came from the bookstore, browsing through the section of books. Having been tired of reading that Lolita book that her father had given her. What's the point of reading about a pedophile anyways? It had just given her the creeps, and she was pretty sure it would've given anybody sane some too. Even if it's a piece of notable and prominent literature, that is.
There wasn't much people around the park, that much she could tell. The park is such a great serene scene to come by in the daylight. Lots of different people around, kids running amok, everybody just chilling and having the time of their lives. But when dark came, Perry figured there was a fear installed in their mind. Fear that they'd be a victim of a crime that would be committed in the park. It's such an open area, right? But Perry wasn't one of those. Well, not much anyways. She had remembered when she was a tad bit younger, when she had first strolled upon the park at night. It wasn't much scary, that's true, there were lots of porch lights illuminating the way in and out of the park. But it was mainly the people in the surroundings that had given her the chills. C'mon, who wouldn't be scared of tall trees, and homeless men hiding in the dark? But to be true to her beliefs, she relied on the notion that Jedis would come save her if ever she would be in trouble. How geeky, but it would as hell beat being overly cautious all the time, right?
She was walking with her head mostly down, once in a while glancing at the sky to see the wonderful combination of colors that formed during sunsets. She, then continued walking to her destination but then she came around with a familiar figure. 'Who's that?' she asked herself, as her brows knitted together in confusion. Perry was quite hesitant to approach, only because, A: the person apparently wanted to be alone, and B: he seemed to be.... "sad." She slipped out of her mouth.
previous RP roles: err, here? none yet.
anything else?: the history is kinda blah. sorry for that.
